Here is a sample of some of the Wine Presenters we currently use for our events:

David Richter - Master Winefellow
David is one of the original founders of Winefellow and splits his time traveling the world educating people about wine and working in the local New York restaurant scene advising tier 1 restaurateurs on the fine arts of vin-ology, particularly in the Italian genre. David is a premier culinary educator, who conducts professional tastings for some of the world's top businesses as well as intimate private tastings. He conducts specialized tasting events that have become a staple in the business of corporate networking in just one year's time.

David has spent the last eight of his twenty-year hospitality career working with the worlds most acclaimed chefs, agriculturists and wine makers in and around New York City and Italy. He has a long time involvement with the world of wine that includes retail, importing, educational and a consulting contributions. He opened Italian Wine Merchants retail shop and was involved with the importing of Bastianich wines during his time with the Bastianich / Batali restaurant group. He has also spent time with winemakers in Tuscany, Lazio and Piedmont Italy. He continuously improves his impact on the world of food and wine by staying in touch with the world's leading practitioners and educators. David's spirit and love of the good life are infectious. While in New York City he was Service and Beverage Director of Beppe and Esca Restaurants and General Manager of Maremma Restaurant in the West Village. Every night was filled with excitement working the dining room floors discovering great new food and beverage pairings and making friends and fans of guests.

Chris Scocca
Chris is an accomplished Sommelier with level 3 Advanced Certification from the WSET and is currently working toward the Diploma of Wine Studies. He has served in some of the most prominent restaurants in New York City such as Union Square Café, Felidia, Morrell's Restaurant and Wine Bar and most recently with Bar Boulud, one of New York City's most talked about restaurants and owned by celebrated chef Daniel Boulud.

Through his various restaurant experiences, Chris has become very knowledgeable and an accomplished wine presenter of Italian and French wines. He possesses a solid understanding of the intricacy and complexity the wine growing countries with countless grape varieties, numerous appellations, and a myriad of producers all with their own specific style. He is also very knowledgeable about wines from all regions of the world including California, Oregon, Germany, and Australia and his personal favorite dessert wines.

Jean LeDu

Candela M. Prol DWS, CWE, AS  
Has a degree in Anthropology from the New School for Social Research and graduated Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales Culinary University. After working as Chef, then Baker in RI; joined the ‘Pier House Hotel’ as Sommeliere; then manager of the ‘Café’ at Louie’s Backyard, both in Key West, FL. Long standing affiliation with Astor Wines & Spirits, NYC. Represented the Lenz, Palmer and Paumanok wineries, North Fork, LI. Received the ‘Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma’ from the International Wine Center in 1997 where, also taught the class titled “Aromas of Wine” and presently teach the Wine & Spirit Education Trust: Intermediate, Advanced Certificates and Diploma classes. Professor of wine instruction for the Hospitality Department at the NY School of Technology,. A ‘Certified Wine Educator’, 2001 from The Society of Wine Educators, Washington, DC. Formulary Wine Director, now Educator for ‘Louie’s Backyard’ Restaurant; teach wine classes at the ‘Restaurant Store’ and write a seasonal wine column for ‘Solares Hill’ in Key West, FL. Conduct corporate, public and private wine events as well as selecting Spanish and Portuguese wines for Chambers St. Wines, NYC. Contributing editor to ‘Food & Wine’ - consumer wine pocket guide for the year 2000.

Sarah Munson
Ms. Munson is a seasoned leader in retail brand development, consumer marketing and business operations. She most recently served both as general manager of Beauty.com and senior director of merchandising at Drugstore.com, where she was responsible for approximately $50 million in revenue. Previously, Ms. Munson was executive director of product development and marketing for Bumble and Bumble, where she created more than 30 consumer products for the Estee Lauder Company, managing everything from concept through manufacture and launch.   Prior to business school she worked as management consultant at Bain and Company and as a core member of the team at several early-stage companies. Ms. Munson's professional career has spanned the globe, including positions in San Francisco, Johannesburg, London and New York City. She is a member of the Board of Advisors of Fashion to Figure, a retail clothing chain based in New York City and volunteers as a member of the BRAVO board for the Seattle Opera. She has spent years participating in wine and food education programs, and is working toward an Advanced Diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. Ms. Munson holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Pomona College. Although Ms. Munson has a difficult time choosing one favorite wine, her true love is Champagne.
